ASL can provide guidance and advice on potential issues before finalising the design and going to full planning stage, saving time and money for the developer, when compared to these being identified at the full planning stage.
Prior to a formal planning application being made, it can be very useful and cost effective for the developer to consult with the aerodrome’s team, who can offer informal advice on how to comply with the aerodrome safeguarding criteria.
Potential issues can be identified early and enable modification of the design at the early stage in order to incorporate certain aspects, such as: height restrictions, lighting and landscaping conditions, further technical assessments, if they deem to be required etc.
