Aerodrome Safeguarding

Aerodrome safeguarding is a consultation process by which all measures are taken to ensure the safety of aircraft, and thereby passengers and crew, during taking-off, landing, or while flying in the vicinity of an aerodrome.

ASL can manage this process on your behalf, produce a safeguarding assessment and propose a reply to the LPA, well within the timescales of the planning authority. The airport reviews and agrees the response before sending it to the LPA.

All records are maintained, and support can be given with CAA Audits, if required.
